Stew Leonard's Wines of Norwalk Notes

For the folks who enjoyed the Borgale Rosso, wait till you try the white compliment. A blend of predominantely trebbiano with just a dollop of malvasia to yield a wine that is a pale straw yellow in color with hints of citrus and flowers in the nose, fresh and lively with a cornucopia of flavors, crisp acidity and a finish that is thoroughly satisfying and refreshing. A great wine to serve as an aperitif or with light meals and snacks.

Winemaker's Notes

The wine, straw-yellow in colour, is fresh and structured because of a good acidity level. It is very agreeable on the nose for its fine aromatic characteristics. It has some floral and fruity notes.

About Falesco

Falesco was established in 1979 with the principal aim of rediscovering and enhancing the value of Lazio's traditional varietals. Several years later it is impossible to list the accolades bestowed upon owner, Riccardo Cotarella. Located 50 miles from Rome, Falesco's vineyards are situated in the most prestigious areas around the Umbrian - Lazian border. Immediately after harvest the grapes are transported to the winery where the most advanced technology is employed to achieve the best vinification and the resulting exceptional wines.
